Customer Review: Almost like they never existed.
Good book, but not great. Unfortunately, it is the only pice of writing on these 5 legendary cars that GM engineers built and raced in “secret”. Lots of photos you won’t find elsewhere, and it is the only place the incredible story of these cars is recorded. How funny that GM marketing “commemorated” (with the 1996 ‘vette) these cars, which they did not support, and actually axed when they found out about them. This story just goes to show what a driven group of individuals at GM were able to achieve with passion, means, and hard work – they were able to defeat the Ford racing machine and the legendary Cobras!
